We are currently experiencing some technical issues with the updating of Continuing Medical Education (CME)/Continuing Professional Education (CPE) records in the Professional Registration System (PRS).  This might affect some registered medical professionals whose Practising Certificates (PC) will be expiring on 31 December 2023 and who are now applying to renew their PC. 

If you are a registered medical professional who had already submitted your CME/CPE claims in the PRS and fulfilled the minimum requirements to apply for PC renewal, you may be encountering an incorrect update of status in your PRS records which may show that you have not “met CPE requirement” and not “eligible for PC renewal”. You may also be encountering such erroneous status updates in your PRS records after you have submitted a PC renewal application.

We are working with the system’s vendor to expeditiously rectify the issues and will provide an update as soon as they are resolved.
