A new version of the Supervised Practice Guidelines (2014) [PDF, 153KB] is now available in “Forms and Downloads". The Guidelines were refined to clarify the supervision requirements based on feedback from therapists and employers. They also include new sections pertaining to changes in supervisors, employers or employment arrangements during the supervised practice period. These guidelines will take effect from 15 April 2014.

The Guidelines outline requirements for supervision of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Therapists on Conditional registration. Please ensure that you, your potential employer and supervisor(s) are able to comply with these Guidelines before you submit an application for registration if you are only eligible for conditional registration with the AHPC.
