Renewal of Practising Certificate(s) for Year 2022

It is an offence to practise nursing/midwifery without a valid practising certificate.
Nurses and Midwives Act (Chapter 209) [Section 26 (1)]

calendar Nurses/Midwives who have not practised nursing for a continuous period of 5 years are required to attend a Return-to-Nursing programme before they can practise nursing again. This applies to those nurses/midwives who are holding valid practising certificates and have not practised nursing/midwifery for the past 5 years.

The Singapore Nursing Board issues Practising Certificates (PCs) for nurses/midwives on its Register and Roll.  It is the responsibility of individual nurse/midwife to apply and pay for the yearly renewal of the practising certificate no later than 1 month before the expiry date on 31 December 2021.

For applications made after 30 November 2021, the current prescribed SNB Fee for Late Application/Renewal of Practising Certificate shall apply.
