Appeals and Score Rechecks

In This Section

Appeals

All appeals with regard to a candidate’s eligibility to sit for the AN Examination (MCQ) must be directed to MOH within ten (10) working days from the date of the Letter of Eligibility Status. MOH will review the details of the appeal and inform the appellant on the outcome of the appeal in writing.

Score Rechecks

Appeals regarding the results of the AN Examination (MCQ) should be submitted in writing within thirty (30) days of the release of exam results. Appellants will then be advised of the actual cost and payment mode to ABMS-S and/or its Member Boards.

If the appeal is a request to re-score the examination, the consideration will be given to whether the need for a re-score is due to errors in the psychometric and scientific standards required for the entire examination, and if such request is justifiable. If approved, all cost involved in the re-score (approximately USD 250 to USD 350) will be borne by the appellant.
