Announcement

As at 15 March 2014, there remain a number of applications where the required documents, clarifications or additional information have not been received. The affected applicants have reminded to arrange for pending items to be sent to AHPC. The missing items may include

  • Form SF2 – supervisor undertaking
  • Letters of verification (LV) of professional qualifications
  • Certificates of good standing (CGS)
  • Supervision reports
  • Reference checks or professional references
  • Declarations of practice

Some of these applications cannot be processed at all, while others may be placed on conditional or temporary registration. If you have submitted your application and have not received your registration outcome, please check your email and mail for follow-up actions required on your part.

Reminder to submit application for registration

Please note that it is an offence to practice as an occupational therapist, physiotherapist or speech-language therapist without registration and a valid practicing certificate from the AHPC after 14 April 2014.

Therapists who were not practising in Singapore immediately before 15 April 2013 and have not registered for practice, must stop practising immediately, and submit an application for registration. Such therapists cannot practice prior to being registered and holding a valid practising certificate.

Therapists who were practicing immediately before 15 Apr 2013 and wish to continue practicing in the profession after 14 April 2014 should submit a registration application. Those who are not registered after 14 April 2014 must stop their practice until they have obtained registration and a valid practising certificate prior to starting practice again.
