Announcement

1.    The current Practising Certificate will expire on 31 December 2012.

2.    Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC) will be sending out the Renewal Notice letter to all pharmacists who had met the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirement. Pharmacists should be receiving the letter by 21st September 2012.

3.    Pharmacists who do not receive the letter by 24th September 2012 should check if they had fulfilled their CPE. If CPE requirement had been fulfilled, please contact SPC. If not, please fulfil the shortfall by 30th November 2012 to avoid late renewal.

4.    Once the Renewal letter is received, please:

(a)  review your personal particulars in the attached Renewal Notice

(b)  if there is no change in your particulars, indicate "No Change", sign, and return the renewal notice, OR;

(c)  if there are changes in your particulars, complete and return the attached "PC Renewal & Change in Personal Particulars" reply form; and

(d)  pay the 2-year PC renewal fee of S$500 (2-year practising certificate) to the Singapore Pharmacy Council by 30 November 2012.

(e)  Please complete and return the attached “Declaration of Fitness to Practise”

5.    You may return your reply form via email, fax, or post.

6.    There are five (5) modes of payment you may choose from to pay your renewal fee. Please see attached 'Renewal for Practising Certificate' instructions for more payment information. For Pharmacists under “Inactive Status – Not Working”, only payment by cash or cheque is accepted.

7.    Please note the following:

(a)  a late application fee of S$100 and S$200 will be imposed if fee payment is not received by 30 November 2012 and 31 December 2012 respectively

(b)  allow sufficient time for clearance of cheque and credit card payments (7 working days) if you are paying by these modes

(c)  post-dated cheques will not be accepted

(d)  requests for waiver of late payment fees will not be entertained

(e)  check with your pharmacy manager or HR department if the renewal payment will be made on your behalf (and submit the renewal reply form to them if they are)
