Renewal of Temporary Registration

For temporary registration which has been granted for period up to period of 3 years, employer/ registered dentist may apply for renewal of registration. However, the renewal will be subjected to Council’s approval as per section 14B(2) in Dental Registration Act.

To apply for renewal of temporary registration, employer/registered dentist will have to login to the Professional Registration System (PRS) to apply for renewal one month before expiration of the current temporary registration. This online application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Under Section 22 of the Dental Registration Act, registered dentists are required to hold a valid practising certificate in order to practise dentistry in Singapore.

Documents Required

1.     Passport Size Photo [400 x 514 pixels]

2.     Letter of Appointment

3.     Letter of Undertaking (To be completed by employer and submitted by registered dentist)

4.     Work scope performed by registered dentist (obtain a copy from employer and submit by registered dentist)

5.     Research proposal and IRB's approval 


Fees Payable:

Renewal Fee of $100 (non-refundable)

Pro-rated practicing certificate (PC) fee of $600.00 for 2 years or part thereof.

 

Mode of payment

The fee may be paid through online e-payment (Visa/Mastercard/iBanking).

Processing time : At least 2 months (except for post-graduate students: processing time is approximately 2 weeks) starting from date when all necessary documents are received
