1. Nurses/Midwives who have ever registered with SNB will need to apply for re-registration/re-enrolment before they can commence practise in Singapore when :
 

a) they have not been practising nursing/midwifery in Singapore for a period of more than 5 years; or

b) they have not renewed their Practising Certificates for a continuous period of more than 5 years;

  • If you are a locally trained nurse, you must attend and complete a Return-to-Nursing Programme. However, you will be required to apply for temporary registration before you can commence the Return-to-Nursing Programme.
  • If you are an internationally qualified nurse/midwife (applicable for Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident only), you must have an offer of employment, before you can be considered for Return-to-Nursing Programme. You will be required to apply for temporary registration before you can commence the Return-to-Nursing Programme.
