Revised Cap on the Number of Medical Practitioners under Temporary Registration for Service Provision

The SMC has reviewed the cap on the number of temporarily registered (T-reg) doctors allowed for the clinical departments indentified as areas of need (AON) as well as for the other specialties.

The total number of T-reg doctors for service provision in a department will be capped at 40% of the total established Medical Officer (MO) positions in the department.
