Under section 31(f) of the Medical Registration Act (Cap 174), names of medical practitioners shall be removed from the Register of Medical Practitioners if they have not renewed their practising certificates (PCs) for a continuous period of not less than 2 years, and cannot be contacted or sent any document using their particulars in the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)'s Register.

In May 2012, SMC tried to contact medical practitioners who have not renewed their PCs for a continuous period of not less than 2 years, through the last known particulars in the SMC’s Register provided by these medical practitioners.

Please click here for the list of medical practitioners who cannot be contacted / who did not respond to documents sent, using their last known particulars in SMC’s Register.

The medical practitioners whose names are listed must contact SMC Secretariat by 24 Aug 2012. If they fail to reply by the said deadline, their names shall be removed from the Register, pursuant to Section 31(f) of the MRA.
