Returnees to Practice include allied health professionals who had previous professional practice experience in Singapore, and had not been actively practising the profession for the 3 years immediately preceding their application for registation. Work experience as rehabilitation or therapist assistants, or other job roles (e.g. senior manager, assistant manager) is not considered professional practice experience.

Returnees to practice may be required to undergo a period of supervised practice under Conditional registration before being eligible for Full registration.

Returnees to practice will be subject to the prevailing registration and supervision requirements. After grace period (i.e. 14 April 2014), a returnee to practice who does not possess a qualification that is recognised by the Council, will be required to pass the relevant qualifying examinations before he or she is eligible for conditional registration.
