Allows an allied health professional to practice generally in the profession without supervision.

Eligibility Requirements

For allied health professionals who were already practising their profession in Singapore before 15 April 2013 and applied for registration on or before 14 April 2014:

  • A basic/primary professional qualification that is found on the Lists of Recognised Qualifications; OR
  • Passed the relevant Qualifying Examination (QE) or Passed the SPA examination between 1996 to 2006; AND
  • At least 1 year of professional practice experience in Singapore in his allied health profession (e.g. as an Occupational Therapist, a Physiotherapist or a Speech-Language Therapist) as at 15 April 2013; and
  • Actively practising the profession


Important Note:
Those with professional practice experience of 2 years or less in Singapore as at 15 April 2013 will be required to demonstrate English Language Proficiency if the medium of instruction in their basic/primary professional qualification is not in English.  Registrants who have not met this requirement by 30 March 2014 will be granted Conditional registration for 1 year to fulfil the requirement.

For allied health professionals who have no professional practice experience in Singapore on or after 15 April 2013, or applied after 14 April 2014:

  • Such applicants will be considered as new registrants
  • All new registrants will generally need to fulfil a period of supervised practice under Conditional registration, and comply with any other conditions that may be imposed to be eligible for Full registration.
